blood moon tetrad 2014_15

Ai, time is flying. It is said that the time always flies fast when you have fun. It’s just that I’ve had so much fun lately that I didn’t notice that the endtime passed by, or at least the entrance of it. I wrote about Blood Moon Theology some time ago, and we’ll look at it again now to see how things have gone. Actually, I think I must be in the new kingdom now!  Theology

Before we proceed, I will ask you and encourage you strongly to read this entire post. This will save you for lot of frustration and fear, also a deception into which the Bible does not speak of at all.

Since there are more than Mr. Hagee who spread around false and corrupt teaching, which also John Shorey, Hal Lindsey, Jonathan Cahn, Mark Biltz and a bunch others do, will I here give a few strong examples and evidence from the Bible that disproves their teaching.

This applies not only to these guys from USA, but also from other parts of the world, including Norway where we also have many strong voices for this same false teaching. Although many do not follow Shorey, Hagee and the others, they still have very similar end-time eschatology; Dispensationalism.

John Hagee predicted that in this tretaden, which started on 15. April 2014 and would coincide with the four Jewish holidays, Pesach (Passover) (15/04/14) – Sukkot (Tabernacles) (08/10/14) – Pesach (04.04.15) – Sukkot (08.09.15), so would the “rapture” take place where all Christians will be taken up to heaven, and Israel will go to war called Armageddon, and Jesus will come back again to earth. ( Read more about blood moon tetrad and Hagee’s views on it ).

So, why is John Hagee still around and preach in every corner if this were true? Why am I here? According to their own theory, we should not have been here! We are still here probably because everything around Blood-moon theology and some other theologies are rubbish!

Now there are some who say that John Hagee have not said anything specific to happen or exactly when things will happen. He himself claim that he did not predicted this, but that NASA and God (the Bible) has said it. Okay, so what are we to call a statement from him that reads:

“God has made this very clear that in the future He will make the moon red and the sun shall not give her light.” And then comes something that neither God nor NASA says “and this is God’s sign to this generation that something is huge and it’s going to happen soon. And this “something” is going to change world history forever.

You can not say over, and over, and over, again “this generation” and “something big is going to happen”, and then say you haven’t said when something going to happen. When you say “this generation”, you say when it will happen. When you say “something big is going to happen,” you actually say that something is going to happen. It is always easier to wait and see if something happens, and if something happens, well, then one can easily say: “You see, something happened!”

Maybe you, of one reason or another, do not buy my explanation above so let’s look at what he wrote in one of his own newsletters, dated 2 Feb. 2015.

“To all our partners in America and around the world. I sent you this special prayer that this new year will be your best hour. I personally think that this year, with the last two blood moons, going to be historic. September is the date-goal. Look up! Pray up and pack together! We going up for the King is coming. “

The year 2015 has gone, moon phases has come and gone, and the year 2016 have arrived, and as I mentioned in Blood Moon Theology : Let’s be generous and give Hagee a month delay. So let’s say that by October (2015) shall end on the world come. If not the end comes then, it should at least be great things happening in Israel that will turn the course of history.” With a good margin and a lot of “grace”-time (8 months), I see nothing “earth shattering” or something big has happened, neither with Israel as a nation, the Jews as people, or with nations like Iran, Russia, Ethiopia, or Germany.

But Hagee is not alone. We have for example Jonathan Cahn, who said that the world economy would collapse in September 2015, though I still are in the stock marked without any special fear. And John Shorey who have said in Jim Baker show that he had received a “prophetic word”, and that the great tribulation probably would start (started) in March 2016. He also mentions the year of 2017 and 2018 perhaps to assure himself. But he can go year after year until the eternity takes him without hitting once with his predictions.

The fundamental flaw with John Hagee, John Shorey, Hal Lindsey, Jonathan Cahn, Mark Biltz and a bunch of other self-proclaimed prophets or bible-interpreter is that they say we are living in the last days.

I think we need to go through some few things of what they are saying and give a correction of what the Bible itself says about these things. But let’s first look at dispensationalists timeline of prophecy and compare it with what they’r saying.

dispensationalism timeline of Prophecy vs self-proclaimed “prophets.”

dispensationalism timeline of Prophecy roughly says …

  1. Some earthquakes and wars happen as they take as a sign. (Which is not).
  2. Rapture of the church takes place (pre-tribulationalist (pre-trib).
  3. Antichrist will appear and will sign a peace treaty with Israel. He allows Israel to rebuild the temple, which of course necessitates relocation / destruction of the Dome of the Rock.
  4. The church is now gone (pre-trib) and Jews have rebuilt their temple. Antichrist sets up the abomination of desolation in the temple. And 3.5 years after the signed peace treaty, Antichrist breaks the peace treaty and begins to persecute the Jews. (mid-trib think the church is taken up here).
  5. After 3.5 years of tribulation of the Jews, they cry out to the Lord, and Jesus comes the second time and destroys Antichrist and establishes its 1000 year reign from Jerusalem. When this 1000 year reign runs almost to the end, a riot appear and you have … yes, exactly, Gog and Magog War (Armageddon).

(Pre-tribs believe the church will be taken up before the tribulation. Mid-trib believe the church is taken up in middle of the tribulation).

This is a rough sketch of dispensationalists timeline of prophecy. But it doesn’t matter if you are “mid-trib” like Shorey or “pre-trib” like Hagee, the point is that the big tribulation begins only when “antichrist” has come on the scene.

When Hagee had his teaching about the 4 Blood Moons, he said that we would within the next 18 months (from tetrad starting 4/15/14) witness Gog and Magog war, foretold in Ezekiel 38ff. And we will likely to see a total annihilation of Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq, and other nations that oppose Israel.

But wait … if Gog and Magog war is only 18 months away, an expired time pr. date, it means with absolute logical necessity that, in the time of writing, the rapture happened for over 1008 years ago?! Antichrist has already signed a peace treaty with Israel for over 1008 years ago ?! Jews have already rebuilt the temple for over 1008 years ago ?! The great tribulation took place for over 1004 years ago. This means that the second coming of Christ happened 1001 years ago. This again means that we are done with the millennium! You see the point? We had only 18 months left of the millennium when Hagee spoke, according to John Hagee’s Blood Moon Prophecy vs. dispensasjonistenes prophetic timeline.

And of Shorey’s part, the tribulation have already begun in March 2016. However, according dispensationalists timeline of prophecy, “antichrist” should then already be present and active. But where is the peace treaty with Israel? Where is the abomination of desolation? And yes, where is Jerusalem’s temple? None of these are there!

You can not have the great tribulation without antichrist present, the temple in Jerusalem, and the abomination of desolation in the temple. John Shorey is a false teacher! In any case, a very poor interpreter of Scripture, and therefore shall not have been allowed to be considered a bible-teacher or bible-interpreter. The same with John Hagee.

Again. The basic error of Hagee, Shorey and other modern so-called prophets is that they tell us, and insists, that they take it for granted that we are in the last days. But what if we’re not living in the last days? The scriptures that these so-called prophets apply on our generation, the inspired writers of the NT applies on their own generation.

Let’s look at Biblical texts.

When John Hagee and many others want to show us what happens of sign at the end of time, they appeals to Joel 2: 28ff and Acts 2. What’s interesting about Hagee’s citation of Acts 2 is that he begins with verse 19 and following. But verse 19 is not the beginning of the quotation.

We who are familiar with the scripture, knows that in Acts 2, Peter and the apostles received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues. They were accused of being drunk … but then in verse 14 … And now, pay attention as Peter also told his audience to do …

14 Then Peter stood up with the eleven. He raised his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, notice what I say, and listen carefully to my words: 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was said through the prophet Joel (Acts 2:14-16)

John Hagee quite conveniently omits verse 16, because Peter says clearly that “…this is what was said through the prophet Joel:” And then Peter begins quoting verbatim from Joel 2: 28ff.

And Joel 2 says, that “in the last days … the Spirit will be poured out.” And you know what? Peter, as we saw above the Holy Spirit had been pour out on, says, “this is what…“ This can only mean one thing, my dear friends. Peter lived in the last days foretold by Joel.

These modern so-called prophets believe that what happened in Peter’s days points 2000 years ahead of Peter’s time. But Peter did not say – “in these (our) days shall Joel be fulfilled” – or – “this is how it will be like (in our days)” -. He did not even tell us that these were symbols of how it is going to be (in our days). He said: – “this is what …” – “This is it …!”

In sum; Joel said that ‘in the last days, the Holy Spirit will be poured out as a sign before the great and terrible day of the Lord, together with moon will be made to “blood.”‘ Peter, in Acts 2, quoting Joel and saying that Joel was fulfilled by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that day. ‘ They saw it, they heard it, they experienced it. Again, the Holy Spirit would be poured out as a sign, together with the moon should be turned to blood before the great terrible day of the Lord.

So why do Hagee start citing from Acts 2:19:19 “And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood,”? Well, we know why. Because, if Peter was right – as he was – “the last days” was for 2,000 years ago.

Hagee also cites another passage that I find interesting, Mat. 24:29ff. In this passage, Jesus answers the disciples’ questions about the fall of Jerusalem, the end of the age, and His coming. Jesus says that in that generation (taken from the context)…

“… there will be great tribulation, (as a result of domination of desolation) such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. (Mat. 24:21) Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,”… (Mat. 24:29).

Are you reading it? Do you see that? Immediately AFTER tribulation of those days … What tribulation? The great tribulation (v.21). Thus, after those day – the day of ‘abomination of desolation’ and tribulation itself – the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”

The parallels to “moon will be darkened” is Joel 2 and Acts 2, and is also parallel to the moon will turn into blood in Revelation. 6:12. So “blood moon”, as a sign of the day of the Lord, will come immediately after the great tribulation. Was the great tribulation before the last “blood moon” on 8. September 2015? You and I know it did not happen.

It is now positive proven that John Hagee is a person who distorts Scripture, a person who ignores what the Bible actually says. Ask yourself with Mat. 24:29 in hand. When should the moon be darkened? Before or after the tribulation? After the tribulation of course. Hagee do “cherry-picking”. But you know, a text taken out of context is nothing but a pretext for self-rationalization and for personal use.

John Hagee has totally corrupted and destroyed the writings of Joel 2, Acts 2, Mat. 24 and Rev. 6. We have now seen and witnessed fraud from both John Hagee and John Shorey as bible-teachers.

If we are not in the last days, then the day of the Lord is not near!

Prophet of God

John Shorey, who says he has received a “prophetic word”, told us that they (Hagee and Cahn) “had in a sense wrong to expect these things last September (2015), but not completely wrong, since it were predicted and prophecied”

This is terrible. Neither John Shorey, Jonathan Cahn, Mark Biltz or John Hagee, or any other living person today is a prophet of God.

Who was a Prophet of God, Biblical !? They were not someone who just read a text and decided – “Oh, I think I have figured it out!” -. A prophet of God was called and inspired by God. They were given authority and power from God, and their predictions came true – ALWAYS!

What did God say about the criteria to decide if a man were a prophet or not? Well, Deut. 18:22 is quite emphatic.

“If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name, but what he preaches, does not happen and the word is not coming true, then this is a word that comes from the LORD. The prophet has spoken it arbitrarily. You should not be afraid of him! “

In other words. He is not a Prophet of God.

But yet, John Shorey (who said he had received a prophetic word) admitted that these prophecies of Hagee were not fulfilled, when he talked about what had allegedly been prophesied by these so-called prophets, of what was going to happen in September 2015. Shorey even says that the great tribulation will begin in March 2016, but this date is also expired! Thus, another false prophet! Oh no, don’t think it’s so easy to be a prophet of God.

Afterthought

2Pet. 1,16   “For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,…”

19And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

It’s time for the church to wake up and distance themselves from such impostors. Listen to the apostles. They had authority, power and wisdom from the Lord to speak revelations, moved by the Holy Spirit. They made known to us the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Read their letters. Read! And do not add people’s thoughts and myths to what it says. It’s no more revelation about His coming than what the apostles got and speaks.
