Revelation pt. 12 – Summary

Many calories has been eaten and burn since I last posted a post here, but I haven’t disappear totally. The reason for the long time is time… more specific lack of time. I have been in Norway and many other stuff have been going around, but I’m here.

We have went through 11 parts of the series of Revelation of John and are now come to an end. Since I like a series of 12 part better than 11, I want to end the series nicely  with a summary, so lets start.

Revelation pt. 11 – The Bride, The New Jerusalem

“I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready” (Rev. 21:1-2) 

In the previous post we was looking at the New Jerusalem as the new creation which took the place of the old Jerusalem. We looked at the time frame, God’s progressive work in history and a bit superficial of the Bride and its character.

For most people, Revelation 21:1 to 22:5 is an event expected to happen in the future for what they call the “millennium”, and will be the eternal perfect order after the final judgment. But this can not be right, …why? read more to find out!
